It was my first semester of college, majoring in fine art photography when I developed a love for black and white. I was hooked by the power of Bruce Davidson and the elegance of Ansel Adams. Don’t get me wrong, I love color photography as well but there is something special about black and white images. The lack of color seem to magnify the feelings.

When I saw the images from this weekends wedding I just had to post them in black and white. Karen is a beautiful and passionate bride; I didn’t want her emotions to get drowned out by color.

It was an absolute pleasure spending the weekend with Karen and Alain; their family and friends. We wish them all the very best and thank them for their warmth and hospitality.

Yes color photography can stand on color alone, black and white must have content.
